The purpose of the Florida Communication Association (FCA) is to promote the study, criticism, research, teaching, and application of the artistic, humanistic, and scientific principles of communication while networking with colleagues in the region. FCA membership is open to faculty and students at the high school, college, and university
levels as well as industry practitioners in the field of communication.

FCA’s annual convention this year will be held from October 17-19, 2025, at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, with a theme of “Communication for Resilience.” FCA invites Florida communication professionals to participate in a business showcase and networking event; interested parties can email Dr. Rachel Winter at rwinter@rollins.edu.
